Rates & Insurance

Whether your priority is to use insurance, see a specific therapist, or work with a highly experienced clinician, we'll help you find the best fit for your goals, preferences, and budget.

  • We offer clinicians with a range of experience levels and fee structures. Fees are based on years of experience, training, specialty, and role in the practice.

    Some of our clinicians are in-network, while others are self-pay.

    Self-Pay Rates

    • Our self-pay rates vary by therapist and service and, on average, are:

      • Advanced Clinician: $165 to $200

      • Senior Clinician:  $200 to $250

      • Clinical Supervisor: $225 to $250

      • Head of Practice: $250 to $350

    Insurance Rates

    • Our Associate Clinicians at GIA's Center for Counseling & Clinical Training are now in-network with Aetna and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

  • Not all. GIA’s Senior Clinicians are out-of-network. But don’t stop reading! Many of our clients use out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits. We will provide you with the necessary documentation to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

  • As a matter of fact, there are!

    Sliding Scale Program for Current Clients: We believe in continuity of care. Each of our therapists reserves a limited number of sliding scale spots for current clients who are experiencing financial hardship and struggling to continue their treatment. If you're a current client and believe you might qualify, please contact our office to learn more and request a sliding scale application.

    Affordable Options for New Clients: For new clients who don’t have coverage —or for those looking for a more affordable option—our Center for Clinical Training at GIA offers affordable and flexible fees. You’ll receive thoughtful, high-quality care, from an Intern or Associate Clinician who is enrolled in our supervised training program.
