The short answer is no - but don’t stop reading! That doesn’t mean we can’t work with you to get you the help you need. While GIA is not in-network with any insurance providers, you may be able to use your out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits to get reimbursed for services. We can provide you with the necessary documentation to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. See the tab below for more on utilizing your benefits.
Our training institute also offers services with Interns and Level I Associate Clinicians at a reduced rate.

We've partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines insurance reimbursement through out-of-network benefits. Click here to see if you qualify.
You can also contact your insurance company directly to determine if you have out-of-network (OON) benefits. The phone number for Mental or Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse is usually listed on the back of your insurance card.

As a matter of fact, we do!
Sliding Scale Program for Current Clients: We believe in continuity of care. Each of our therapists reserves a limited number of sliding scale spots for current clients who are experiencing financial hardship and struggling to continue their treatment. If you're a current client and believe you might qualify, please contact our office to learn more and request a sliding scale application.
Affordable Options for New Clients: For new clients whose insurance doesn't reimburse for services, or who prefer alternative arrangements, we offer more affordable options through our training institute. You can receive high-quality care from an Intern or Level I Associate Clinician who is enrolled in our supervised training program.
We're committed to helping you find a therapy option that fits your needs. Please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss these options further.

Here are some of the important questions to ask your insurance company about your coverage:
Does my plan cover out-of-network (OON) mental health services?
What is the deductible (the amount you have to pay out of pocket before your insurance starts reimbursing you) for mental health services?
What percentage of the fee will be paid after the deductible has been met?
What is the out-of-pocket maximum (the amount I pay before my insurance starts covering 100% of the fee)?
What is the maximum “reasonable and customary rate” (the fee the reimbursement percentage is based on)?

We've partnered with Mentaya, a service that simplifies getting reimbursed for therapy. They can instantly tell you if you have out-of-network (OON) benefits and what you can expect back. Mentaya then handles all the claim paperwork, so you get reimbursed directly while you focus on your well-being. Learn more and check your benefits by clicking the link below.
